When your wedding day arrives, after months and months of planning, you will want it to be M A G I C A L. We have put together some tips on how to make everything goes smoothly the morning of your wedding day so you can wake up and fully enjoy your day!
Leading Up To Your Big Day
About one month before your wedding day, make sure you have confirmed with all of your vendors (hair & makeup team, florist, photographer, videographer, entertainment etc.) including the time they are to arrive and where they are to arrive. Be sure to save all of their contact information in your phone, and in your Maid of Honor’s phone, so you are able to quickly and easily reach them if needed. Speak with us (your photographers) about your Wedding Day Timeline and include a time you’ll plan to get into your dress the day of. Make sure your Beauty Team has an understanding of what time they need to be complete with everyone’s hair and/or makeup. We will also help you plan what time to leave your getting ready location and when to arrive to your ceremony location.
About two weeks before the big day, finish any last minute details so you are not scrambling to get them done the night before! Make sure your seating chart is complete, favors are finished, thank you notes are written and everything is put into a safe place to be stored until your wedding morning. Touch base with your bridal party and answer any questions they may have. Perhaps make a music play list and have it ready for the morning of to listen to while getting ready.
The Day Before
They day before your wedding, make sure you have your Day-Of Schedule printed and complete. Decide what time you will want to wake up depending on what time your hair and makeup team is set to arrive (give yourself at least 45 minutes to get up and eat breakfast before they plan to start). Give yourself more than enough time to get ready so you can relax and enjoy yourself. You should get ready last. Put one bridesmaid in charge of taking cell phone pictures and videos of candid moments so everyone can be present on off their phones as much as possible. Make sure everything is packed if you will be traveling in the morning. Do not go to bed too late. Sleep in a comfortable bed with your own pillow so you will get a good night’s sleep.
